Passive Arts Studio was first established in Hollywood in 1974. The first establishment was a small two room Dungeon with minimal equipment and a small contingent of Dommes and submissives and it was one of the first commercial Dungeons to ever advertise in the United States. It was built by two men who loved the Lifestyle and wanted nothing more then to have a place to indulge their fantasies.
Over the first several years, Passive Arts Studios trained many Dominatrices who would later become Worldwide figures and end up having Dungeons of their own. Several of our Ladies appeared in the George C. Scott film "Hardcore" in 1976 and also appeared in Penthouse Magazine in the same year.
In 1999, Passive Arts was resurrected in a 7000 square foot building directly across from LAX by one of the original partners. It is one of the largest facilities of its kind in the World. Fully air conditioned and heated, cleaned by a Professional crew and filled with state of the art equipment, PAS has a total of 7 complete theme rooms and Dungeons plus a 2500 square foot social area complete with a stage and lighting. It was a vision that was started many years ago to build the most unique setting for BDSM and Fetish play in the World and today, it has more than accomplished it's goal.
